Just spotted my old Vega for sale on ebay (UK). Looks like it has a nice new engine but it is still in Porto Santo near Madeira. I do not think it has moved since I left it there. The advert indicates that the old Volvo had seized up - bit weird as I motored it into the travel lift and it was not run after being lifted out? Already had someone phoned me and asked about Vegas
and the one in "Porto Santo"....... £11k aint cheap especially where she
is!

I guess the current owner is hoping to re-coup the cost of the new motor. The reason I was so reluctant to re-engine was the fact that it does not add a huge amount to the value - but it will make it much easier to sell. Just needs someone who wants to take it across the Atlantic!

Just looking at the ebay pics and the old prop still seems to be fitted? Surely the original variable pitch prop is not suitable for the Beta setup? Maybe the conversion still needs a bit of work?
