Circuit Breaker

I own a MacGregor 26M sailboat. While docking I connected the boat to a 120V power source to get lights in and out of the boat when I turned the circuit breaker (it has on single switch and one double switch) the only thing I got working were the electrical plugs inside the boat but the lights or radio did not come on while connected to the 120V line. They all operate fine on battery power. I unscrewed the circuit breaker to see if there was anything wrong. I could not visually detect a problem. Do I need to replace the circuit breaker? If so, what brand and model? I went to the MacGregor website to find answers but to my surprise they are closed for business.

Many thanks for your help

the DC circuit will not power up when you plug the AC cord in unless you have an inverter wired into the system... and even then you need the DC circuit breakers on to power the DC lights and Radio....

unless you actually have AC light fixtures, an AC microwave and your stereo is an AC unit, the AC power cord on the boat is probably only to operate a battery charger or inverter..
