Chrysler Sailor Outboard oil mix ratio

I have a early 80's Chrysler Sailor 250 outboard, it runs with what little fuel came in the tank. The old owner was less than informative, (just add some to the gas). Does anyone know the oil mix ratio recomendations? I was planning on 50.1 mix.

I do know the Johnson/Evinrude came out with a motor in the 80's and said to run it at 100/1. After a bunch blew up they changed it to 50/1.

Had one of those - use 50 to 1 mix

Good old dependable engine if properly maintained.

Had a Chrysler 70HP outboard, 3 cyl with 3 carbs 2 stroke would burn 6 gallons an hour. 50:1 is the right mix.

Six gallons an hour? on a 70hp? WOW no wonder I gave up powerboats

well, we did save a nice skiff for calm days
