The Hunter Sailing Associations of the Chesapeake are pleased to announce The Hunter Chesapeake Rendezvous, August 9-12, 2012 at Port Annapolis Marina.
Sponsored by Hunter Marine, Norton's Yacht Sales and Tidewater Marina, we expect well over 100 Hunter owners to participate in this event.
Friday's program is headlined by circumnavigator and Hunter Crash Test Pilot Steve Pettengilll. The keynote speaker at Saturday's dinner is Tom Neale, renowned author who with his wife Mel homeschooled their children during three liveaboard decades with 19 winters in the Bahamas.
The program seminars range from galley tips to technical details of bottom paint - something for everyone. Beyond the seminars, we have fun activities for kids as well as for adults. And if you have been to one of our prior Rendezvous you know there is plenty to eat and nice give-aways - like Hunter T-shirts.
The attached photo of kids making boats for the children and adult competition in the rain gutter regatta is from our last Rendezvous. Ask any of the 100+ people who were there and they'll tell you it was fun.
