Three Excel files were added today to the Resources>Downloads>BoatSpecific>Hunter section. These contain the missing part of the Hunter Cherubini Owner's Manual not contained in the already downloaded HOM#1 and HOM#2 pdf's.

The files are:

CherubiniHunter25&27ManualDrawings.xls
CherubiniHunter30&33ManualDrawings.xls
CherubiniHunter36&77ManualDrawings.xls

(For 22 owners, excuse the exclusion. Just can't recall much activity for this model.)

The info contained is drawings of dimension, plumbing and electrical wiring systems.
The drawings for the emergency tiller setup are not included.

The original pdf file of the drawings section was over 4.3mb and wouldn't download to the SBO site. I don't have the editable version of Adobe Acrobat, so cut-and-paste into Excel was the best that I could do. I couldn't put all of the 25, 27, 30, 33, 36 and 37 drawings in one Excel file (because bigger than the apparent file size limitation?), so they are divided into three files; two models for each file.

Right clicking on each drawing should enable a "copy" option for transferring elsewhere if you have another preferred application to save to.

Hope this work-around is useful for most.

I have the 1979 manual and I do not think there were any differences. It is not much. There is a slip out page that is a simple electrical diagram. I posted that in the "Owner's Mods" many years ago.

I wish they'd made these available in '-.pdf' so we could ALL open and read them.
Give me a day or two. With Phil's cooperation to remove the .xls's maybe your wish will come true.

Subsequent to the day that I downloaded them in the xls format, I did discover a way to break apart one big pdf into several smaller pdf's without $'s to Adobe.

I didn't do anything since then in hopes that most people could do Excel. But your wish is your command. So I'll strive to make good.

OpenOffice Calc will open the .xls files, and you can then select each page and export directly to a pdf file, save as a graphic file (.jpg, gif, etc..) or edit it using OpenOffice draw. I've attached the H25 pages in PDF just for Diana

Cheers,
Brad

What I discovered is that Excel (the newer versions anyway) will give the option to save an excel file instead to pdf format. So on my computer I have converted the three Excel files that I downloaded (each has drawings for two Cherubini models) into three pdf's. Just waiting for Phil to confirm he can/will delete the xls's to avoid overpopulation and confusing duplication in the download page. Then I will download.

Saving files to PDF format

On my old desktop computer, I downloaded a free application (this was before "apps" and not to be confused with them) called "Cute PDF Writer" and you could print them as PDFs in the print dialog box. It would save a copy of the file as a PDF, too. Worked on Microsoft Word and Excel 2000. Guess I'm dating myself, but I've never liked the newer Office stuff once they changed the toolbars. I use an automatic insert for "Path and filename" on all my professional documents, and it's a bear to find that feature in the newer versions Word. It's so hard to find (for such a ubiquitous feature) that the Microsoft message board has a work-around to find it! Another brilliant Microsoft flub.

Stu, on Word 7 it is in the drop down from the little round circle called Office Button. You will find the pdf format in the "save as" drop down.

You happened to check during the 12 hours or so after Phil deleted the xls's and before I downloaded the pdf replacements but before he gave administrator authorization to migrate the files to the public download page.

As of this writing, I am seeing the pdf versions in the Resourses>Downloads>Hunter page.

Thanks Phil.
