Hi all,

If anyone has their boat moored in their back yard, would you mind putting a tape measure to the logo shown in the attachment?

We need:

Height and width of the lettering

Height and width of the boat

Overall width

Width of the rules

Is your decal black?

That's my logo

The boat is not in my back yard. I don't have one...a back yard that is. I'll be at the boat sometime this weekend though. So if nobody else has provided the dimensions by the time I head to the boat, I'll get them for you.

Yes, that's the idea. We've got a supplier set up to do the newer decals and now we're working on the 80's and 90's.

Dalliance - no data from anyone yet so if you have a chance to get those dimensions this weekend we would be very grateful!

The original decal on my H36 is long gone. But it was there long enough that I've got slightly more gelcoat left underneath where it once was than on the rest of the hull. I'm going to my boat in a few minutes. I'll bring paper and chalk. I'll see if I can do a "rubbing" to transfer the relief. (Got this thought from being in European cathedrals a few times when I was much younger. Tourists can buy paper and chalk for the thrill of getting on hand and knees to rub a transfer of the face and writing engraved in stone from the cold floor above the resting place of some centuries' dead quasi-famous person. I personally didn't spend the money/time since I knew my rubbing would
very quickly make it into my home's waste bin. Instead my educational memories are of watching the rubbers go at it.)

Rardi, that is awesome! And the gelcoat on that 36 is _almost_ as old as some cathedrals anyway. :)

Sorry Phil: I could see the relief of logo if I sighted along the hull just right ... However not raised enough to get a rubbing. Also part of it is now covered with a vinyl stripe. Now if I had a buddy who was a CSI at SFPD.... Bet they'd succeed. Boat isn't a crime scene. Not yet anyway.

Phil, do you need anything from 1984, my 27 has the factory one still on. I can be at the boat in 15min from home and could pics to you tomorrow.

Fantastic! Photos and dimensions of both would be great. Although, on the '84 boat just knowing if it differs from Dalliance's drawing would be a good start. Best thing to do is email them to me: phil at sailboatowners.com.

I'll try to get you something this weekend for the 90 logo, I plan on driveing up to the boat as long as the weather is alright.

My logo is not the same as yours but I have seen it on other Hunters. It is 1 1/2 inches tall and 18 long. I made my stripe 1 1/2 also so it would work with it. Left a 22" opening for the logo. Purchased on Ebay for 10 box. Any sign shop can download your picture and either cut you one if only one color is involved or print you one if several colors are used.

Here is another version for you Phil, off my 1983 model. It was removed when I repainted the stripe, but I might be able to scale the dimensions if you needed them. As this logo seems less common, you may not want to produce it anyway...
