Cheek block removal?

Hi I need to replace the sheaves in these cheek blocks.
I removed the screws but they won’t budge.
I don’t want to be a bull in a china shop.
Are they glued down/best way to remove them and repair please?
Is cheek blocks the correct term?

I'd slide a razor under the base and work it back and forth .

Good advice above. They are probably held down with 5200. A wire with handles will slide right through. See this thread for more info Replacement cheek blocks H 31 in particular post 13.

Maybe complete the destruction of the sheave then grab the pin with a vice grip from inside the block. Work it back and forth to loosen the pin.

It’s peened in. I had to drill mine out. The block will come off.

Can you see any bolts secured inside in the cabin ceiling before doing anything just to be sure.
