There were posts last summer on after market anchor solutions, here's how I solved my problems.

Thanks

Thank you for sharing that. If you don’t mind – how much should I expect to pay to have a bow bracket made? Thanks

Cost

Michael, Bow roller was about$100 from Windline, fabrication was $150. I paid too much. Was told $100 but when I picked up part they tacked on $50 for material. Ask for labor and material price. Had made at commerical kitchen hood sheet metal shop. I didn't shop at all, should have.

Thanks, great idea

Thanks for your photos. We'd like to add this to our boat. We especially liked the additional cleats. I'm tired of lifting the jib to reach the forward cleat on our boat. .

Nearly found it

Thanks George for the response. I’m surprised that something like this isn’t available commercially. Maybe there aren’t very many boats out there that can’t fit a bow roller. If you follow the link below: http://www.sailnet.com/tiq/rails.htm you can see a picture of what looks like the perfect solution to the H26 bow roller problem. But when I called these folks, the sales person couldn’t find any reference to the product in the picture. The search goes on.
