ok I cant pull the trigger on stern rail seats for my 23.5 its more then I can bare to spend on stern seating , but yesterday I was at the local walmart "of course right ?" and in the sports section I purchased two ozark trail portable seats that fold down . the purpose of these seats is for bleachers as it has a metal hook that wraps the bench and supports the seat anyway I bought two for $30.00 went out to the boat and tried them these are GREAT I sat them as far aft on the cockpit seats as possible and leaned them against the backrest on the boat and you wont belive what a difference this made while sailing or under power.your back is fully supported and your legs can stretch right out I*ve seen seats like this in west marine a lil more cushion sell for 100 bucks but really if you have $15.00 and try this item you wont be sorry , it also has a flap that hangs down to store "well one pocket stored my beer and coozie while the other storage pocket held my cell phone . only drawback is the colors are either red or blue , no teal to match my current seat cushions
