Admiral got me a rechargeable handheld VHF from West Marine years ago. Never used it as I have the Standard Horizon remote at the helm. But last weekend remembered it, charged it up and it worked great. So for those cases when I might want to use it, and not have it thrown into a locker and forgotten I decided to mount it. 3 minutes with my table saw and a scrap of 2x4 and I had a nice little way to mount it. Embarassed to say I did not take any measurements, but just winged it. Had to guess on the angle of the bulkhead just aft of the nav station (15 degrees worked fine). Fit perfect first time.
