Anybody know about any inexpensive furlers ? Would that info be in the archives ?

try the cdi ff2

i just installed the cdi ff2 furler on my 1987 23. i got it from riggingonly.com for about $320. it's working great.

CDI Is Best Bet

I have CDI furler on my H26 and while not fancy, it has worked well. CDI can be purchased from discount catalogs - mine came from Defender Industries - check their web site. Sailrite who sells sail making kits, also sells CDI kits, and they provide a new video which helps you with installation. As with any furler, the jib will have to be modified and UV cover added. Low Cost Furler

Look at the CDI Flexible Furler, it is a good system for the Hunter 23. Recommend that you consider the FF3 model, it is the same as the FF2 except the FF3 has a larger drum, which would allow the use of a larger furling line. The 3/16 line on the FF2 is hard on the hands due to the small size. Go the CDI's home page www.sailcdi.com for information on their units.

How difficult to Install CDI ?

Ok, I'm ready to buy - how difficult is it to install a CDI on an H23 ?
