In the never ending quest for a dry bilge I chased down a fresh water leak somewhere around the domestic water pump / water heater. Ended up being both 1/2" NPT nylon (as recommended by Attwood) fittings at the water heater domestic water inlet and outlet. See pic...these are both just 3 years old.
Replaced them with brass.
