I am considering a Navman Tracker 5600 chartplotter. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this unit or can you recommend any other plotter? Tim

Tim, I have seen it next to the

CP150C Std. Horizon unit that has the same size screen but is smaller in its overall size. I liked the cp150c better because it was much better graphics and much brighter screen. Also, have the Navman 3100 instruments that will connect directly to the tracker, and I am very pleased so far with those, but will have to connect them thur the Nmea 0183 connections making it a little harder, but still like the Std Horz cp150c enough for the extra effort. Good luck, but do compare the units at BoatUS in a side by side demostration and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Puzzled

The Navman 5600 has a 6 inch screen and the SH has a 5 inch screen. I am confused. I guess I need to do more research on the screen brightness. I will take a look at the SH at West Marine tonight and compare. Thanks Tim

Fantastic

We put one on our 410 and found it was great. Very user friendly. Wouldn't be without it now.

Navman is nice

But Garmin is better. The cartography is way better, go to a boat show and coompare. C map and Navionics has a long way to go to catch up.
