For some reason the PDF downloads aren't working for me. A PDF window opens up but the chart never appears.
I was doing some searching and found some references to a free RNC Chart Navigation program from MapTech. My understanding is it is a watered down version of their nav program they are selling. A link took me to the program download page but the English Language version of it gets me an error message. Didn't try the Spanish, Italian, French versions.
The references were all from 2009 and 2011 so maybe things have changed since then.
Would be great to have a computer program that allows off-line nav planning on downloaded RNC charts.

Start the download and go do something else for a half hour. It can take a long time. The two charts I use for my local area are only 8 MB, but for reasons unknown to me, the download is very slow.
I have been very very happy with OpenCPN, and linking your laptop to a GPS source is pretty easy making it a great take with tool also...
