I am looking for new chart plotter that has the ability to rotate right and left so that I can view the screen while sitting on the combing. any suggestions? Most mounts that I see look like they only tilt up and down but not right to left.

Look for swivel mounts in powerboats. Many different types that you may be able to adapt to your situation. I did.

I have a few of these and I’m very happy with the quality. I did have a plastic part break and when I wrote customer service and sent a photo they sent me a replacement assembly (not just the broken part) - No charge. Can’t ask for more than that. They also have a “mini” line for mounting smartphones and tablets.

Take a look at the Ram products linked in the pics. On my 27 footer I have a similar double swing arm unit mounted just inside the hatch opening. It can be rotated inside the cabin for nav table use or secure storage... when sailing it is swung outside and pointed towards the helmsman on the coaming. Really excellent solution, well worth the money.
