If your not in a Marina and keep your boat at your condo in PGI or any other privately owned dock in the Charlotte Harbor area,where do you pump out your holding tank. Nick

Fishermans Village
Sea Daddler- You use to get a pump out at Fishermans Village. My folks lived in PGI for 20 years and that was where we pumped out. Parents are gone now, but still have property in Punta Gorda, but just don't get there much. I take it from your posts you keep your boat out in the bird section. Burnt Store has a pump out too. On your post of water coming out of Ponce de Leone Park, go onto Google earth and you can see the channel and the s- turns. Never sailed on the harbor, but powered all over. Marion St was the entrance that was used to get to there place. Great area to be at.

Pump out in PGI
Just checked a month ago and pump out at fishermans village was free if you buy gas or diesel and only about $5 otherwise, I think, not positive but seemed like a good deal at the time.

Rob, Used to fish around Punta Gorda with my Uncle,when stationed at Homested Air Force Base .He passed on, but i will never forget the great Fishing. I own a 22ft MacGregor that i like. Bob Palme

My boat won't be down to Punta Gorda until Nov.and was looking at buying a condo in the bird section with at least 45 ride in and out plus going in and out ponce de leon with some shallow water in winter making me rethink buying right now. I may just go to Burnt Store for the first year and just get to know the area before buying. Nick
