Charleston Spar In Mast Furling - Replace control lines

Has anyone had the pleasure to replace the inhaul and outhaul lines on the cited spar? The line just crapped out on mine on a Catalina 310 and it looks like I will need to replace the control lines. The manufacturer is a bust for help so I need to see if anyone has done the project?

Need to know diameter, specifications and length of line and any helpful tips for the change out.

Kenyon Isomat located in Charlotte, NC was purchased by Z Spar. Without going into it other than a fiasco, the old Kenyon Isomat reinvented themselves into Charleston Spar and later into Sparcraft in the same location. I am not sure whom you spoke to. Therefore here is a suggestion:
1. Go to boat information, Catalina, then 310 under downloads and you will find two chapters for the owners
manual. YOu probably will find the information there.
2. Go to Rigrite who handles old parts for Kenyon Isomat on behalf of Sparcraft which I would tend to think
this would include Charleston Spar and see if they can help.
3. If no dice and you are at your wits end, call the Catalina plant in Florida and ask for Gerry Douglas who will either answer or send you over to the right person to answer your question.

This is the best I can suggest as I am a retired sailboat dealer which included not only Hunter and Catalina but others over the years plus I sold my fare share of the 310 but I cannot remember squat anymore.

Does anyone actually get help from Rigrite? So far, "that part is backordered. We do not plan to manufacture them at this time," is all I ever hear.... I guess you would need to own a new boat.

Any parts supplied for Kenyon Isomat come from Sparcraft handled best thru Rig Rite. Not sure what you Agprice22 is referring to so a better explanation is needed as to that comment. As boats age, there will come a point that parts will no longer be made as it is too costly to keep parts in supply for a sale here and there.

That pretty much covers what Rigrite told me when I tried to contact them for parts for my 272...
