Channel Islands Harbour

I have heard from others that this may be a place to find liveaboard in California (thanks Andy) but I am not sure where exactly that is. Can someone give me more info? Maybe as well as rates? Also if anyone knows of another marina in this area that would allow and have room for liveaboards, please fill me in.ThanksEric"Worlds Away"

Sorry for the incomplete info EricVentura Harbor is the next harbor South of Santa Barbara, Its about 30 minutes farther. there are a number of differant marinas in the harbor.Channel Islands Harbor is another 10 minutes south from Ventura again there are quite a few marinas to choose from. In this months "The Log" there is a booklet of all the marinas. if you need a copy let me know.Andy Hansom

I keep my boat in Ventura which is the next Marina North from Channel Islands. I perfer Ventura because it is a prettier location and I think has better access to the Channel Islands cruising grounds.I would reccomend Ventura Isle Marina who do allow live aboards. Also you should join Pierpont Bay Yacht club. These folks are very freindly and have a very affordable club with a great cruising and racing calender
