You have one of the early ones. you will have to lift the boat off the trailer in order to change the line. Undo the line from centerboard and tie a tracer line to it. Pull the tracer line up till it comes to the deck. Remove the old line and measuure it for replacement. To let the centerboard down, there is a cover plate inside at the base of the compression post held in either by caulking or screws. Take it off and you will see a big bolt. Unscrew bolt and when putting it back on, put 5200 marine sealant around it so water cannot seep through. Happy sailing
