I have a First 42s7 that I plan on taking into salt water for the first time in it's life. The thru hull fittings are bronze and the seacocks are a silvery metal. Are there corrosion issues with these being dissimilar metals? I'm also concerned about lightening strikes being attracted to the metal fittings.

I'm considering changing out all to Marelon. Has anyone done this or any ideas?

Thanks,
Russ

My 2006 B323 has the same arrangement as you, and 7 years in the salty water has not been a problem. Not to worry, Russ
