Did it on an '87 h40
Matthew,I'm a little frustrated. I posted this yesterday but it went to cyberheaven.I changed the hoses in my 1987 h40 #217.I completed a week-long HSA-1 cruise in 2003 by shunting the inlet and return at the engine with a piece of 5/8" automotive heater hose.At the factory they tied the hoses to the water heater with two plastic wire ties BEFORE they installed the floor pan. I called Hunter and got to speak to Dennis Sapp who worked on the production line in the late 80s. He told me exactly where to cut two four inch holes in the pan to access the wire ties with diagonal cutters. Once the wire ties were cut, hose replacement was straight forward.Hope to see you on the Bay at an HSA-1 raft this summer.
