Well, after two phone calls to Crazy Dave I started fixing the broken cable to the outboard. I have placed photos of the job in the photo fourm. First - DO NOT DRINK BEER while doing this, you need to be focused. Second - It will take about five hours. This is what it took me - first time I've ever tried this. Might be better next time. Don't drink beer! Third - You will need a helper to fish the cables throught that small opening. And YES DAVE I had a PVC pipe to help guide the cables. Fourth - TAKE YOUR TIME. If you drop any of the cotter pins down the pedestal - they are GONE. When you are done - DRINK BEER.....BE HAPPY!! Jim S/V Java
