Change to mainsheet arrangement on 310?

I was talking to a company about a dodger for the 310. He fabricated a dodger four years ago based on a fitting he did earlier on a 310. However, the main sheet arrangement changed between two model years and the owner decided not to fit the dodger. Can anyone recall what model year this change occurred? Basically the aft most bale on the boom was moved aft?RegardsChris

dodger issue

ChrisMy 310 is 4 yrs old.I have a full dodger that works well with the mainsheet release set up. I understand the earlier models (?) had an issue with the dodger inhibiting an emergency release. Difference in length of boom - furling main vs standard

Good morning all:Just wondering if anyone offhand knows the length of the boom on a Catalina 310 with in-mast furling? This may account for the diffent positions for the bales.The length of the boom on a standard rigged main is 13'06"RegardsChris
