Our boat needs a Daddy...Is our 1973 Challenger 40 a Columbia? The Challenger brand doesn't turn up very often.Can anyone help with this lineage ?

I found a link to Challenger Yachts, (TN). I do know that your Challenger has no relation to Columbia Yachts. From "I" Boats.com " This Challenger Yachts (TN) sailboat has a hull made of fiberglass and has an overall length of 39.92 feet. The beam (or width) of this craft is 1210 inches. This sailboat is rigged as a Sloop. The sail area for the boat is 650 square feet. Approximate displacement for the vessel comes in at around 25200 pounds.
