Epoxy Work & Chainplates

I don't no if this helps, but my experiance is that any structural fiberglass renovation should be done with the west system epoxy ( Consistent Pump mix ) and a medium to heavy saturated glass cloth. Do not chince with your overlay. Keep all bubbls out of your work and if they show up,after curing, cut them out and fill with epoxy. Are there mechanical connections required ? Could not access your weblink to see what your connections are to be. Your framing material must be wetted with epoxy if it is to lay raw against the HUll a mixuture of cabosil or similar thicking agent will give the epoxy some body to stay against the hull until curing. And then fully glass your work in place. West System has a very good book avaible at marine supply for advice or go on line. Joe Daly s/v Trinity
