I am trying to rebed the chainplates on my '85 Hunter 28.5I can't get them off. The receiving nut at the base of the chainplate shaft will turn freely for a turn and a half and then jams up. It feels like something below the anchor plate is turning and hitting something inside the bulkhead. So, I tried turning the chainplate shaft instead while clamping the receiving nut, but the angle of the shaft relative to the deck is such that the chain plate will not make a complete turn as it hits the pad it sits on topsides at an angle and won't go past it.I have only tried this on the port chainplate, I haven't tackled the starboard side yet. Any ideas would be appreciated.Mike
