Problem: attaching shrouds to chain plates. Specifically, this boat has three shrouds per side. An upper, intermediate and lower, all long enough to reach the deck. But there are only two holes in the chain plate. Another boat yard unstepped the mast and we are trying to rerig. The mast was made in France by Z-spar. I'm wondering if there was some kind of a fitting to adapt the three shrouds to the two holes in chain plate. Also, shrouds currently are barely long enough to reach the chain plates. If anyone has seen one of these rigs I'd appreciate some feedback.
