Cetrek Auto Pilot Problem

I recently purchased a H40.5 with a Cetrek Auto Pilot. The AP will hold course for several seconds, then suddenly make a severe turn to port. Also, the AP turns the boat the opposite direction when either + or - buttons are used. Any ideas?Bill Joness/v Bardi Sea
