While applying Cetol Marine on the teak rails, some splatter from the brush landed on the non-skid deck adjacent to the teak rails. What can I use to remove these splatters? I tried brushing it with boat soap but it wouldn't come off.

acetone

I've used acetone to clean cetol stains and it works well. Obviously, be careful not to put a rag with acetone down on your deck or it will burn right through.

A little acetone on a rag

Will take it right off. And it won't hurt the gelcoat--acetone is so volatile that it evaporates very quickly. Just don't pour it directly onto the stain, only on the rag--or dip a toothbrush into it, if the stain is on non-skid. Then wash with detergent and water.
