Water intake.
Be sure to check the archives Robert, a lot has been written here about A/C installation. A comment, though, about the thru-hull question. After much reading and discussion, including with the manufacturer, I have decided on NO thru-hull for intake. Instead I plan to place a bronze T-valve in the hose between the fresh-water filter and the waterpump. This, of course, limits you to running the A/C only when the motor is NOT running. And it requires you to remember which valves are on/off!
