We have at our club 2 25ft. How do you remove the centerboard.

Kinda easy ..

if you have access to a sling. Near the front of the stub keel you should find 2 steel plates on either side of the CB. Those plates should have two screws each. Remove the screws, that may or may not be hard to do. Then you should find a wedge on either side, which may or may not have been glued in place. The top of the wedge is where the the CB pivot rod sits, which allows the CB to swing up and down. Once all of that is loose, the CB will fall out, so be careful. (The front end) And then loosen the CB pennant (sp) and all will be free. The CB does not weigh very much, maybe 50 - 60 lbs, but it is kinda akward. I build two slotted stands to hold the CB upright when I took mine out and it was a great help. I hope this is of some value. Good sailing next spring. Tom
