Glenn. For maximum performance, are there any special considerations to keep in mind when sailing a large centerboard design? The Edge and H260-240 would be examples.

Raise the board when going downwind.. 
reduces wetted surface area and friction, and no really need for it going down wind... Drop the board all the way when closehauled... as it moves the CLR forward the most and helps the boat point.
