Has anyone found any tricks on replacing the wire rope which is used to raise the centerboard on the MacGregor 26 ?( mine is starting to fray badly ) Can this be done with the boat on the trailer?
In 99 I took mine off to inspect it, but I had my boat of the trailer. I can try to take it off again if you want, but I'll have to do it in the spring time. The snow is upto it's belly and it's about -30 celcius. (I don't think so).
