Bruce,
Do you have an inboard? Do you want to restore to original or just need a working system?
I ask because all of my board lifting hardware was gone so I went with a straight pull, 2:1 system that I'll be happy to describe if you don't have the inboard and don't care to be original.

Bob, this is a bronze winch that is mounted inside a cockpit locker.
