Bought a H26 1994 used in 2000. The last two seasons, I noticed two cracks emanating from the corners of the centerboard well about 1/4 inch in depth and 3-4 inches long. I explored the problem with a local fiberglass repair outfit, who reinforced the area and repaired it the last two seasons. Again, when hauling it out last fall, the cracks are back as they were before. Anybody have any suggestions on how to stop these cracks from recurring and what damage is going on? I'd like to get it resolved before I put it back into the water this season.

Reene, sounds to me like you might be letting your board down too fast. I say this because I went though the same learning curve. We've learned to start preparing for the leeward mark rounding a little sooner to allow time to lower the board nice and slow. Carl & Suzi h240 Relentless
