I don't know if my centerboard is rigged correctly. There is a fitting in the step just aft of the hatch that the CB line passes through. This line is secured to a small cleat. It is braided line that passes through a hole in the aft side of the CB with a knot tied on the end to secure it in the hole. Don't know if I'm being clear on this or knot.;-). Any help would be appreciated.

response to centerboard rigging

Mine passes aft of cb through a s/s pipe and hose fitted with hose clamps to keep water tight and up through cockpit just aft of step. My cb is now stuck in up position with slack line jammed in c/b slot after coming loose from mooring and running aground in marsh. Any suggestion how to free? Roy

You both have me confused...

...like the wind ona race course. Roy, my Mariner has no stainless steel tube in the cockpit. I do not think we have a similar setup, am confused abput yours and maybe could provide more help if I had more details. Jeff, now your sounds a lot like mine. However, I do not understand your question. Does it work as you have it rigged? Get back to me. Regards, Craig PS3183@110.net
