I have a 1982 O-Day 17ft daysailer and my centerboard is extremely difficult to lower, but even harder to raise. I had to dive under it last time to manually push it back into the trunk. I am looking for a schematic of it to see how to get to the pin it pivots on to see if something is jammed or needs replacing. Any help would be appreciated. Great! Thank you so much. A picture is worth a thousand words. Now to find some strong young guys to help me lift the boat off the trailer onto blocks.
I also will be needing to replace my jib and main halyards. Do you know the size (diameter) of these lines for the daysailer?

My halyards are 1/4" double-braid polyester (Dacron).

STANDING RIGGING
Side stays (Shrouds): (2): 1/8” x 15’11”
*Original Head stay and side stays were 3/32” 1x19 SS wire, but most boats have been upgraded to 1/8” since 3/32” is not really strong enough.
All standing rigging is SS 1x19 type wire. All standing rigging lengths are with turnbuckle (where applicable) closed from eye to eye. All lengths and specifications are approximate and subject to change without notice.
You might want to check the Day Sailer forum http://www.daysailer.org/ , there have been several discussions lately concerning the DS2 CB uphaul and downhaul lines. Also there are some discussions concerning yard launching your boat.
