I chartered a 26 1994 Hunter over the weekend. It was a water ballast model. My question is the people that i chartered from did not know anything. I could not find any controls to lower the centerboard. Is it supposed to have one? And how do you work it if it does?

On my 26 the centerboard controls are on the port side right next to the jam cleats for the main and jib halyards. Jason

Center board control line
The centerboard is controled by a line. Look for the line that goes to the base of the mast. The centerboard is lowered by releasing the line and raised by pulling on the line.
