When I had the same job done, the yard found a cutlass bearing, the outer diameter of which fit in the CB axle hole and the inner diameter fit the axle. A much better arrangement than the OEM plastic bushing.

Kind regards

check with the store on this site second from left on top. which ever way you go, tell the rigger to use some duck tape to hold them in place. Also put a bead of 5200 around the head of the bolt and not anything else so it will adhere to the stainless steel plate that the bolt rests on.

YOu might want to check with Fastenal as well as they may have that size too.

I Have the factory blueprint for the centerboard housing and related hardware, sheaves, pins, etc. for the H-19,H-23.5 and the H-26 if that would be of any help. E-mail me at jburns@aol.com and write Hunter 23.5 in the Subject line so I do not delete it as spam. I will e-mail you back the PDF file. You did not mention what model you have. I see your avitar says "23" so not sure the prints will apply.

A quick question. Is the CB bushing the same size as the rudder bushing? BrianW

The centerboard bushing for the pivot pin is 25/32" inner diameter. The pin is 3/4 inch outer diameter.
