The longest day of the year and the official start of summer is just days away. By signing up, you become eligible for many fabulous prizes donated by some of the sailing industry's top businesses. In addition, this year, Seacology, a global non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of island ecosystems and cultures, will receive $1 for every sailor registered for the Summer Sailstice. More than 800 sailors from all parts of the US, as well as internal locations including Israel, Greece, and the BVI, will be out on the water celebrating the Summer Sailstice 2003. This is the only international sailing event that truly celebrates the summer sailing season on the first day of summer and the longest day of the year.
