I have a CDI 4/5 Furling system with a metal foil on my O'Day 28. One of the sections is not lining up straight. I spoke with CDI and they sent me a set of inserts to replace at the joint of the foil. This new insert is not tapped and threaded for the four screw that is on the original. My question is will the new inserts work without being screwed in to place. I tried to call CDI several times and can not reach them. Has anyone had this problem and will the insert work without screws?
