Hello Members,
RE: my recent post concerning the uncooperative CB of our 1979 Oday 30, Paloma.
Today I removed the CB while the boat was in the water. We realized that it was stuck in the "up" position and therefore pretty useless. If anyone has questions about the method of attachment, dimensions, or weight of the CB I have it in my garage and can supply information on this particular model.
The next time I clean the bottom I will measure the channels that the pivot slides in and be sure that the entire inside of the trunk is growth free. Today I was too cold by the time the board was removed and the water in the slip was too shallow for any extra investigation or work.
Respectfully, Phil pccist@yahoo.com
