Caulk/sealant for rubrail

What type of caulk or sealant would be best to use where the edge of the rub rail meets the hull of my H33? In some places there is a fairly tight fit...in other places not so much.

Remember you have two different bonds. Fibre glass and most likely PVC. I used Dow Corning 791 silicone. Bond is very good, however the sealant is soft and does attract dust. So needs a brush and water clean to remove. Excellent UV resistance. Just make sure you clean area with recommended cleaner. In Australia we use White Spirits.
