Is there a Catalina Rendezvous in BC? I see that Hunter has one every year in the Gulf Islands. I thought us Catalina owners were more social than those Hunter types!

I just have been notified that RS Yachts has a Catalina Rendevous on Thetis Island in June of this Year (2005) Call them for more info at 604 681 7755. We were at last years and it was a blast.

Don't forget Catalina Day's June 25 & 26 in Seattle! Hosted by Corinthian Yacht Club. Around the bouys races Too. See you there. I'll be crewing on the fastest C-30 known to man, Magician. I whimped out on bringing my own boat...

C30 Nationals
Windwalker - you short shifted the Catalina Days event in Seattle this June - it's also the C30 National regatta: http://www.capsfleet1.com/IC30/IC30%202005%20NOR.pdf See also the link below for a little more info. Note that the Race Notice above does mention that a person might be able to arrange for a captain and crew to charter a local boat to compete. The Puget Sound get together/race sounds like a lot of fun. But with two kids as crew both under the age of two, we can't make it down to Seattle. It may be next year or the year after. I'll check out the Thetis Island rendezvous instead. Happy Sailing! -Rob PS We are going to Bowen Island tomorrow. It will be little Jason's first trip on the boat (he's 4 months old). I am looking forward to it!
