Hello, I was browsing the site like I do every morning when I get home from work, and haven't found anything new for awhile so it ocurred to me to ask the question, How many of us are members of the Catalina National Sailing Association? Happy Sailing :) Dave LaPere

Catalina 22 National Sailing Association

I find being a member of the Catalina 22 National Sailing Association quite a benefit. It puts me in touch with a whole nation of other Cat 22 sailers. As part of the larger Cat. NSA it provides me with the Mainsail publication as well as Mainbrace which is more specific to the 22's. These pubs provide lots of info on how to get the best out of sailing our fine boats. Cat 22's organization into regional fleets allows most folks an opportunity to participate in regattas specific to 22's as well as to joint cruises or even to participate in national regattas. Feedback from the joint experience of members thru the Association has obviously done much to help the Catalina folks improve their product, as well as for many of us to upgrade our older boats. And it only costs me $25/yr to be a part of it all. I think one can get more info about the Cat 22 organization from our Secretary/Treasurer at kmillerc22@aol.com

I agree ! :)

Couldn't agree with you more and you know there are alot of us out here, that I bet would join just for the commarodery that exists in the Association. They just finished up having the Natinal Regatta at San Diego's Mission Bay. A great place for sailing any time of year. There are only 2 places that I know of in California here that have climate that only varies by 6-8 degrees all year long. One is San Diego and the other is Santa Barbara
