We are the happy new owners of a 1988 Catalina 30 TR. Our plans are to upgrade the boat, however she is in pretty fair shape now. We expect to have many questions to enter on this forum, and the archives have been a great help. The cushions throughout our boat are serviceable, but not an asset to the nice interior. We would like to get some advice about the best way to recover. I have been unable to get info on factory replacements, and wonder about the cost as well as the selection. What would be a reasonable cost for the job by a custom shop? We just sailed our boat home some 90 miles from the upper Keys in 15+ knots both inside the reef, and the Gulfstream and were very pleased with the performance.I had reservations about the old Hood furler, and have been thinking replacement,, but it did function OK. Lots to learn, but lots of fun. Ron B
