Cat36-91
I have a 91 36 and am very happy with the boat. The Nav table on my boat faces forward which gives the main cabin a bigger area. On the side facing Nav tables, you loose some room in the main area but do gain some in the aft cabin. Personal choice, but since I spend alot more time in the main cabin than the aft cabin, I like the space there. The newer boats have little or no wood topsides and for many, that is a real plus. The wider stern of the newer boats gives more room in the cockpit plus those great seats in the stern pulpit. Either way, you can not go wrong. If it were me, I would go with the standard rig, I have the tall rig and for where I sail, (Midwest) I have to reef early.
