1987 Catalina 34. Wondering if anyone can help me who has experienced a similar problem with a cronic water leak on the port side. I've sealed the stansions and scuppers, but I can't seem to find the source of the leak. The water seems to be coming in at the deck above the circuit panel, then flows toward the head and under the laminant and out underneath the counter top into the head. Any tips regarding where to look would be appreciated. -kjc

I could be coming from anywhere

up hill, heck even down hill if it can't get out any other way. You have to rebed everything!

C34 water leak

kjc 1. Most likely the stanchion that has the vent from the holding tank, right above the nav station. Traditional C34 issue and normal place for the leak, because people boarding are always yanking on that darn stanchion, aren't they? Look under the deck by opening the forward small black sliding door above the nav station and you'll see the line for the vent connecting to the underside of the stanchion. Rebed the stanchion. 2.The same thing'll happen over on the starboard side galley forward, where the vent from the starboard water tank does the same thing. Only there, it'll drip onto your 120V outlet. Beware! 3. Check out www.c34.org and our active Message Board at http://c34.org/bbs/index.php?board=11.0 4. Consider joining our C34 International Association. Lots of great help on our website and valuable information for your older boat. We have #224, 1986, lotsa: been there done that's, which can save you valuable time. Hope you'll join us. Stu C34IA Secretary
