Please recommend a 3 bladed fixed prop to replace 2 bladed prop. What is cost, delivery time, and can it be installed by Owner?

Call Kilian Prop.

If you are looking for a fixed prop, contact Kilian Prop in San Leandro, CA. They do some trick things with fixed blade props. You can find the on the internet or call information for their phone numbers. There are some members of the HOW site that have had their props reworked by Kilian and were more than impressed. You may even be able to have them tweak your 2 blade prop and get what you are looking for in a 3 blade prop for a lot less money.

320 Prop

Dear J. Owen, Thanks for the note. The recommended three blade fixed prop is a 15” x 9” if the vessel is equipped with a M35. The recommended three blade for the Yanmar 3GM30 is a 15” x 11”. Both are equipped on a 1” shaft. You will need to check the propeller rotation by looking at the current fixed two blade. If the current two blade can be removed , use a prop puller, the three blade can easily be reinstalled. If you want to know how to reinstall let me know and I will post a note about it. Good Luck. Sincerely, Kevin L. Woody
