Catalina 30 Mkll Would like to charter/rent

East Coast Sailor. Almost bought a 30 last year but could not decide if it was big enough . I love any boat when I first go aboard, but it takes a week or so for me to really get the feel of her and know if I could make a long term commitment . Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks

Fest,

Why knot look for some sailing clubs in your area. Many have all different makes & advertise that they are looking for new crew, passengers and/or members. I would start here & see what you find pal.

OK, this is a wild idea, but...

Charter "Tofte" a Catalina 30 from Anacortes Yacht Charters in Anacortes, WA. Then enjoy a week in the San Juans, a spectacular cruising grounds. See some orcas, seals, eagles, great anchorages, and you'll know what you think of the boat.

We have chartered Tofte twice, and enjoyed the whole experience each time.

Thank You, I'll look to see if any of them have a 30. I have an O'Day23 and Friends have larger boats. Its single handed experience on this specific boat that I'm looking for. Thanks Again R.

Thank You ,That's the kind of thing that would really give me a chance to know the boat. Anacortes is a long way from Boston though. I'm hoping to find something in more familiar waters. Thanks Again Rob

Coriolis was once a Charter vessel for Anacortes Yacht Charters, they do keep their boats in great shape. I still have spare parts on board that came with the boat, that I have not used yet.
Chartering is the cheapest way to see if the boat is for you, and you get the experience of sailing in the PNW.
